About

Solutions Architect and Technical & Business Analyst with over 12 years of engineering experience. I talk directly to clients and stakeholders, and beyond defining architecture and technical details I get involved in product-level discussions, evaluate features and propose better solutions that improve the final product.

I act as a team multiplier: improving team efficiency, sharing knowledge and removing technical blockers. I define target architectures, build roadmaps and set engineering standards through C4 modelling and Architecture Decision Records, apply Domain-Driven Design concepts and architectural patterns to build scalable systems, and work closely with Product and Engineering Managers so technical decisions stay aligned with business goals.

  • Architecture & strategy

Target-state definitions, roadmaps, C4 models and ADRs. Microservices, CQRS and modular monoliths, chosen to fit the problem.

  • Analysis & alignment

Requirements gathering, vendor and build-vs-buy evaluation, and a direct line between customers, product owners and engineers.

  • Hands-on engineering

Core platform code in Node.js and .NET, API design, integration patterns, code reviews and mentoring across the team.

Selected projects

Architectural highlights from the last few years. Roles range from business analyst to lead architect.

Project A — IoT platform

2024 — present

Solutions Architect & Business Analyst / Node.js Developer

Distributed platform for connected devices. Main technical contact for the client and external partners: gather requirements, turn them into service boundaries, co-own architectural decisions with the System Architect, and write core platform code across event-driven microservices.

  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • NestJS
  • NATS Streaming
  • DynamoDB
  • Microservices

Project B — industrial AR/XR training

2023 — 2024

Solutions Architect / .NET Developer

Digital training system for industry, built around a digital twin and AR/XR. Designed the overall architecture and led the .NET backend, including the integration layer that connects the training core with a deep-learning video-analysis module.

  • ASP.NET Core 7
  • EF Core
  • PostgreSQL

Project C — bicycle platform

2021 — 2023

Architect & Senior Developer

Platform for cyclists and bike dealers: bike identity, service history, and dealer workflows. Analysed the requirements, designed the system as a modular monolith, and managed integration between the separate REST APIs for those two groups.

  • ASP.NET Core 6
  • SignalR
  • React
  • MS SQL
  • Docker
  • Azure Service Bus
  • AWS
  • RabbitMQ

Project D — gifting and recognition

2018 — 2023

Business Analyst & Architect

Employee platform with two product areas, milestone gifting and peer recognition, on one technical foundation. Connected business needs with implementation, designed the target architecture for each area, and kept the platform consistent.

  • PHP 7.4
  • Symfony
  • MariaDB
  • Doctrine ORM
  • Docker

Project E — product API

2021

Business Analyst & Architect

Product API that had to stay consistent as features accumulated. Architected a CQRS-based solution and set API standards on API Platform so new capabilities could be added without splitting the system into incompatible interfaces.

  • PHP 8.0
  • Symfony 5.4
  • React
  • PostgreSQL
  • CQRS
  • Elasticsearch

Project F — search-backed web app

2019 — 2021

Technical Project Manager / Architect

Web application with search as a primary path through the product. Led it technically and owned the architecture: a CQRS-based .NET backend, Elasticsearch-backed search, and a React front-end, delivered in Docker.

  • .NET
  • Entity Framework
  • React
  • MS SQL
  • CQRS
  • Elasticsearch

Also contributed as a full-stack .NET developer on further client products.
